three types of Membership
Community Buildings Membership
Our community buildings membership costs just £50 per year
(or £40 if your Parish or Town Council also join as members).
Your membership will provide:
- Friendly and expert advice for all your queries;
- Access to over 40 specialist guidance documents, policies and templates (worth over £600) to help with the smooth running of your community building;
- Access to advice on legal structures and governance (click here to find out more);
- Access to Utility Aid energy advice services (click here to find out more);
- Regular email updates on community building issues across England through links with ACRE, our national membership body;
- Eligibility to join the Hallmark accreditation scheme, which includes discounts from certain insurance suppliers;
- A full listing in our online community buildings directory;
- Access to online training;
- Access to hire our PAT testing machine including PAT test training;
- Invites to network member events;
- Regular e-news updating you on funding and support available.
We also provide a new optional photo service for an additional £50 that could help boost the marketing of your venue via our new and improved online directory.
You will also be given copyright of the photos to use on your own website, social media channels and other marketing materials.
Parish and
Town Council
Membership
Parish and Town Council membership fees are based on the population size of the parish/town.
Members will receive:
- One free consultation meeting to advise on neighbourhood planning, housing needs or a community project or initiative;
- 10% discount on day rates for our support.
- Access to advice on legal structures and governance (click here to find out more);

- Access to online training;
- Invites to network member events;
- Regular e-news updating you on funding and support available.
Neighbourhood Forums and Community Housing Group
Membership
Membership for neighbourhood forums and community housing groups is free of charge. Members will receive the same benefits as Parish and Town Councils.
