Fundraising – What Trustees need to know
This workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and tools to support and enable their organisation to fundraise effectively, legally and sustainably, and take an active role in supporting their organisation to do so.

This workshop will help trustees of community buildings to understand risk control, accountability, board effectiveness and good governance.

Advice and support to reduce energy costs
This session will be joined by experts from Utility Aid talking about how it can help you with energy contract brokerage, energy audits of your building and installing an EV charging point to generate an income for your organisation.

How to save energy in your community building
This workshop will give you an understanding of how to make the most of the energy you are paying for in your village hall. It will highlight the most problematic areas for loss of energy and give you advice of things you can do to help reduce that loss. It will touch on billing and meter reading and the importance of having an energy audit of your property. Different heating appliances both standard and renewable will be analysed to give you knowledge of their pros and cons. It will also provide you with some links for further reading and support.
