Cheshire Community Action is looking for a new Trustee to join the Board. We are seeking dynamic individuals with strong leadership skills who understand the voluntary and community sector, and issues affecting rural communities.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Board Member, your invaluable expertise in rural community issues will guide our strategic direction and ensure our initiatives are impactful and sustainable. You will play a pivotal role in shaping governance structures, providing oversight, and advocating for the work of Cheshire Community Action.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development and implementation of our strategic plan, leveraging your insights into rural challenges and opportunities.
  2. Governance Excellence: Uphold best practices in governance, ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  3. Charitable Impact: Assess the effectiveness of our programs and initiatives in meeting the needs of rural communities, and provide guidance on enhancing our charitable impact.
  4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that may impact our organisation’s ability to fulfill its mission, safeguarding our long-term sustainability.
