Cheshire Community Action has two Board vacancies. We are looking for dynamic individuals with strong leadership skills who understand the voluntary and community sector, and issues affecting rural communities.

In particular, we are looking for candidates with any of the following skills:

CHARITY FINANCE and ACCOUNTING

We require skills in financial oversight and scrutiny at Board level to ensure Cheshire Community Action’s financial management is both efficient and legally compliant, while supporting the staff team with financial management and reporting.

COMMUNICATIONS and MARKETING

Cheshire Community Action is improving the way it communicates with its beneficiaries and stakeholders. We are seeking Board Members with skills to help support and guide our communications and marketing going forward.

SOCIAL ENTERPRISE and COMMUNITY ASSET DEVELOPMENT

Cheshire Community Action provides services to help develop land and building assets for community benefit including governance support, registering the right legal structures, sourcing funding, business planning and everyday management of community buildings. We are seeking Board Members who can help us develop our service offer in this area so that we can respond to the changing needs of communities.
