Ellesmere Port Community Growing Network members scooped four amazing ‘Level 5- Outstanding’ awards at the RHS North West In Bloom Awards in Bolton. The awards recognise the difference groups can make in their local environment.

Representatives from Friends of Elm Grove Community Park, Wellness Community Partnership and Whitby Park Community Garden all met up to celebrate their amazing achievement, along with members of Stamford Street Allotment Society and Friends of Stanney, who were also celebrating winning ForHousing Be Proud Awards for making where they live a better, brighter place.

Network co-ordinator, Laura Penn, from Cheshire Community Action said,

it’s wonderful to see so many groups coming together to make Ellesmere Port greener and these awards recognise just some of the network’s brilliant members.
